When planning your fun-filled get-away at the Casa Cactus here's a checklist for your adventure:

At Casa Cactus, we supply all the linens, household and most bathroom needs. The kitchen is stocked with oil and other basics. Also available during your stay are beach bags, towels, snorkel gear, coolers and beach chairs.

Bring your Passport and Drivers License.

Cell phone.  There is now service in Cabo Pulmo, however you should check with your long distant carrier for special codes and international rates before travelling.

Starlink WIFI available to all the houses and garden areas.

Cash.  Bring plenty as there is NO ATM.

Dollars are accepted everywhere in the Baja, just make sure you bring sufficient small bills.   Pesos can be obtained from your local bank prior to travel or at the airport or a Mexican bank once you arrive.

Pack.  Shorts and casual wear, swimsuit, beach towel, sweater or light jacket for the evenings and early A.M. fishing.

Don't forget your hat, sunglasses and ‘Reef friendly' sun block. Snorkel gear and also camera, flashlight, batteries and insect repellant.

Please no hair dryers or anything that heats up.  We live 'off the grid', on solar power, so those kind of items draw too much energy.

Casa Cactus is in a quiet neighborhood and at night sound carries. Quiet time is from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Sorry, no pets and children under the age of 6 are not recommended.

The average temp of Cabo Pulmo is between 60F-80F but the summers can reach above 100F.  The nights cool down a bit and the infamous winds of the East Cape blow in January and February. There are no grocery stores in Cabo Pulmo, only a couple of small tiendas. So once you pick up your rental car at the airport....head south about 3 miles to Soriana's/City Club to buy groceries. Anything you may need for your stay you will find there and don't forget to pick up your beer, wine and booze. There also is a small store in La Ribera on the way to Cabo Pulmo, El Rey.
